In this guide, we will show you how to register a wallet on our platform. If you have invested in any offering(s) on the TokenMarket platform you will need to register a wallet address in order to receive your security tokens. Please follow the guide or watch out tutorial video to register a compatible wallet.
Setup
Step 1:
Before registering your wallet address to receive your tokens, you will need to create a compatible wallet to store them on. A list of compatible wallets and how you can create them can be found here.
Step 2:
Sign into TokenMarket.
Step 3:
Once signed in, click your account dropdown on the top right of the screen. Then click “Wallets”.
Step 4:
Here you will be able to register your chosen wallet to receive your tokens. If you are registering a wallet using MetaMask see below. If you are registering a mobile wallet using Trust Wallet skip down to here.
Registering a wallet using MetaMask
Step 1:
Sign into your desired MetaMask wallet. On the TokenMarket wallet page, press the “Connect with MetaMask” button.
Step 2:
A MetaMask notification will pop up requesting your signature to register your wallet to TokenMarket. Click “sign” to register your wallet.
Step 3:
The MetaMask notification will automatically close and you will be taken back to the TokenMarket wallet page with a message saying you have successfully registered your wallet along with the address of the wallet.
Within this page you can register more wallets or check on the status of wallets you have submitted.
Registering a wallet using Trust Wallet
Step 1:
Once you have setup your Trust Wallet, select the wallet you wish to register on your mobile device. At the same time, make sure you have the QR code completely visible on the TokenMarket wallet page.
Step 2:
On the Trust Wallet app, press the QR code reader button on the top left of the screen, then press the “WalletConnect” choice.
Step 3:
This will prompt your mobile device to open the camera function (in which you may need to allow Trust Wallet access to use your camera). You will then need to use your mobile device’s QR reader to scan the QR code on your screen in order to connect your wallet with the TokenMarket platform.
Step 4:
Once the QR has been scanned and recognised a notification on your mobile device will pop up asking you to approve “TokenMarket”. Press “Approve”, then another notification confirming your signature request will pop up, you should then press “OK”.
Step 5:
You will now have a notification on your TokenMarket Wallet page confirming you have successfully registered your chosen wallet address.
You can now close or cancel you Trust Wallet as you are now successfully registered to receive your tokens.
